Karen Orozco Sanchez

Karen Orozco Sánchez is an accomplished cultural manager, writer, sociologist, and communicator. A graduate of the National University of Costa Rica, Karen is currently pursuing a journalism degree at the Universidad Internacional de las Américas. Notably, she co-organized the inaugural Café sin Azúcar Poetry Encounter in October 2011 and led the Peña Cultural Aguazarqueña project in 2014. With experience in sociology projects at the National University and contributions to radio programs like Voz de Mujer on Radio Santa Clara, Karen also serves as the Costa Rican correspondent for the U.S. digital media outlet Orato World Media.
