Piyas Biswas

Piyas Biswas is a Visual Storyteller and Filmmaker with a special interest in Documentary Photography. He uses his vision to document humanity and bring awareness to issues throughout the world focusing on many conflict regions. He completed his photography graduation from Counter Foto (A Center for Visual Arts) in 2018 along with his academic graduation. Piyas is a recipient of The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung scholarship and completed his Diploma in Visual Journalism from Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) in 2020. His works have been published in many national and international newspapers and magazines such as The Guardian, The Sun, The Wall Street Journal, CNN International, BBC Bangla, Deutsche Welle, Yahoo News, MSN, Forbes, UCANews, and The Daily Star etc.
